Our Why

We love Jesus and want to share that love by caring for you and your pets.

Risen Paws was started by Myles and Jan Pitman September 1st, 2024. Risen Paws was birthed out of a desire to show people the love of Jesus through His love for animals. So often God's love for His creation gets missed. We believe it's imperative to steward our pets the way that Jesus intended, which is through the utmost integrity and care.

Your pets cannot speak for themselves, so it can be hard to find someone you trust to leave them with. We understand that concern and hardly ever leave because of it. We are accountable to Jesus whether we are being watched by others or not, so we can assure you that we will love your pets as though they are own. We work hard to create a peaceful, stress free environment through relaxing Christian music, prayer and focused play groups that ensure everyone is free from intense wrestling, nipping, bullying, etc. Instead they play tug of war together, chase, tube tag and appropriate physical play.
